The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the person displaying the mark has met the education, training, experience, and examination requirements covering policy and technical proficiency established by the certifier to be a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Specialist (TSCS). The certification demonstrates that the holder has a high level of knowledge, experience, and competence performing in a technical surveillance countermeasure (TSCM) role and/or managing TSCM professionals. The certification also validates a proficiency with TSCM equipment and technical vulnerability assessments.
