The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the person displaying the mark has met the education, training, experience, and examination requirements covering policy and technical proficiency established by the certifier to be a TEMPEST Countermeasure Specialist (TCS). Holders of the certification focus on TEMPEST directives to support TEMPEST mitigation and secure facility support. The certification demonstrates that the holder has a high level of knowledge, experience, and competence in performing in all TEMPEST roles and/or managing TEMPEST professionals and/or projects with TEMPEST countermeasure requirements. The certification validates proficiency with TEMPEST test equipment, shielded enclosure design & construction, shielding effectiveness testing, detailed TEMPEST equipment tests, and TEMPEST countermeasure application and accreditation.
