This certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that the lighting technician or consultant meets the standards authorized by the certifier and certifies that services provided have been performed by a lighting technician or consultant who meets the certifier's set of developed standards or good practices. The owner is exercising legitimate control over the use of the mark in commerce. The mark owner is not engaged in the production or marketing of the goods or services to which the mark is applied, except to advertise or promote recognition of the certification program or the goods/services that meet the certification standards of the mark owner.
