The certification mark, as intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies that these persons, who are performing the services identified above, have demonstrated satisfactory, advanced professional knowledge in the field of arboriculture, including: proper plant and tree identification and care and planting, maintaining, and treating plants and trees in an urban setting, in accordance with requirements established by the certifier, including the completion of the necessary professional occupational requirements and/or examination, and completion of the required continuing education units for recertification.
