The mark consists of the moon phases starting with a waxing crescent moon facing the left and ending with a waning crescent moon facing the right. All of the foregoing is above a mountainous desert landscape. There is a curved road bisecting the desert landscape that disappears into the mountains. The central design is enclosed in a circle border with a filled-in moon-like crescent facing downwards at the top of the circle, and directly underneath the circle are two steps. On both sides of the steps are two six-sided polygons, which form a portal-like gate when combined with the steps and circular border. Beneath the foregoing are the stylized words "MOON GATE" where the first letter "O" overlaps with the second letter "O".
