The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the services are provided by parties who have been certified as qualified in relation to building industry services with certain environmental quality standards, namely, that a home, building, site development or renovation project meets or exceeds the criteria in the ICC700 National Green Building Standard set of standards and is in accordance with the NGBS Green certification program.
