The mark consists of an oval-oriented drawing with a double border, dissected by an un-scrolled banner upon which appears the word "WURSTFEST". A man in Bavarian dress and hat is pictured on the top half of the oval, his left arm and hand in a hitch-hiker position. Behind him are line drawings of mountains, clouds, the sun, and sun rays. On the bottom half of the oval, just beneath the banner, appear the words SINCE 1961 and on the lower border of the oval appear the words, NEW BRAUNFELS TX. In the center of the bottom half, between the words, is a bratwurst in the shape of a "U". On either side of the bratwurst are seven dots, and below the bratwurst are two, "U"-shaped lines.
