The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the products provided have the following standards: (a) the ingredients the product is derived from must fall within a designated pulse market class, namely, yellow peas, green peas, red lentils, green lentils, kabuli chickpeas, desi chickpeas, black beans, navy beans, great northern beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, cranberry beans, faba beans, lupins, or another other pulse to be approved by the applicant; (b) the ingredients the product is derived from can be defined as dehulled pulse flour (which may be further designated as specialty milled dehulled pulse flour), whole pulse flour (which may be further designated as specialty milled whole pulse flour), starch-rich pulse flour (which may be further designated as specialty milled starch-rich pulse flour), pulse meal, pulse grits, pulse starch (which may be further designated as additionally processed pulse starch), pulse protein (namely, pulse protein concentrate (which may be further designated as additionally processed pulse protein concentrate) and pulse protein isolate (which may be further designated as additionally processed pulse protein isolate), and pulse fibre (namely, pulse hull fibre and pulse inner fibre) as assessed in accordance with specification criteria and registration guidelines set by the applicant. Details of the aforesaid standards are available to the public through the applicant, and are subject to change by the applicant from time to time.
