The mark consists of The mark is a circle. Its size, color and form vary in proportion to cater the needs of its application. The upper part of the Western Shrine Building (WSB) locates at the center of the LOGO of the Holy Mountain Buddha Land (HMBL). It composes with multiple-layer Chinese style hip roofs of various roof angles and a mixture of eastern pavilion style roofs located in the front, rear and left-hand side of the WSB. This WSB is beautified with clear outline of shadows as sun lights come from the left. The tree lines embracing the WSB are expressed by single-lines. The Chinese name of HMBL are expressed in 4 Chinese characters which literally means HMBL. They are pronounced as "Sheng Shan Fo Guo" and laid on the top of the WSB. Three vajras (cross-like symbols) situate at the bottom of the English name of the HMBL & in between 2 circles. Twenty two alphabets express the name of the HMBL in English. There are numerous "Wheel of Dharma" (small circles) surrounding the margin of the LOGO.
