Love Thy Youth is a Mentor/apprenticeship program that lives by the famous African Proverb It takes a village to raise a child. Love Thy Youth is a brotherhood among youth and positive role models who provide guidance to enrich the lives of our youth, their families and the communities in which they reside simply by providing, substance, wisdom and fun experiences during their adolescents. Love Thy Youth has began to pair youth in our program with local entrepreneurs and small businesses in career fields in which they may be enthused by, they then gain hands on experience, knowledge for the field and life time mentors. Love Thy Youth has clean up days where we pick up trash, we mow lawns and plant flowers. We also have book giveaways where we set p in different locations and give away free new and used books to both youth and parents. Love thy Youth also have youth events such as pool parties, skate parties, fashion/talent shows etc. I no longer have my vending machine but when i did I would pay youth to refill machines routinely, I plan on doing this again once I get another
