The mark consists of a compass located on the outside rim of the light grey circle and features four points and two colors which are navy blue and light blue. The compass points appear as navy blue and light blue. The compass points are positioned at the North, South, East and West points on the outer light grey circle of the design. Small inner white circle that appears under the words, "HBCU Legacy" inner gold circle on top with the words "Our Future Depends On Us" at the bottom half of the circle. The inner white space that surrounds the image of the open book, tree and fist. The book is open that shows two lights blue pages, two dark blue pages and a dark blue closed fist. A navy blue tree with leaves that are white with navy blue roots from the tree that are coming out of the bottom of the open book.
