The mark consists of This is a circle-shaped logo with the outer layer being a thin ring with 90 small, evenly-spaced head and shoulder cutouts inside the confines of the ring. Below the top of the ring, inside the circle are the words "BLACK VOTERS UNITED", cut out of a solid half-circle band and centered across the top. Below the left edge of the half-circle band is a solid microphone with the microphone cord forming a loop. The length of the cord that extends beyond the loop curves slightly to the left. Underneath the right side edge of the band is a solid green check mark with the right side of the check mark facing the inner edge of the ring. The words "UNBOUGHT, UNBOSSED" are written as shown and centered on the bottom of the circle just above the ring and in the same inner layer of the circle as the words "BLACK VOTERS UNITED". The next two layers beneath the words "BLACK VOTERS UNITED" and above the words "UNBOUGHT, UNBOSSED" are thin lines making two circles, one inside the other. Each layer of the circle has 4 evenly-spaced small breaks. If comparing these breaks to points on a clock, the outermost circle has 4 small spaces evenly distanced between the followin four points: the 1 and the 2, the 4 and the 5, the 7 and the 8 and the 10 and the 11. The innermost circle has 4 small spaces evenly distanced between what would be the 12, 3, 6 and 9 points on a clock. The middle of the circle has a solid hand-shaped image holding a card with the word "VOTE" on the card. The card is outlined and rectangular in shape. The hand holding the card is attached to the outline of a sleeve that slightly leans toward the top left of the inside of the circle. The innermost section of the logo has a box with a hexagon shape on top of the box. There is a straight line laying horizontally in the hexagon-shaped box that does not touch any edge of the box. The bottom right corner of the "VOTE" card appears to be entering the box, as it touches the straight line in the hexagon-shape. The square box attached to the bottom edge of the hexagon shape holds three solid head-and-torso-shaped figures. The square box lines are twice as thick as the lines on the left, right and top line of the hexagonal-shaped box. The figures are three different sizes and appear from smallest to largest from left to right. There are no spaces between the figures as the torso shapes of each figure are connected. The right side of the torso on the smallest figure, that on the left side inside the box is connected to the left side of the middle figure in the box. The middle figure is slightly larger than the figure on the left side.The right side of the middle figure is connected to the left side of the torso of the figure on the far right side in the box. The figure on the right side is slightly larger than the middle figure and is the largest of all three figures inside the box. Underneath the bottom edge of the square box, there are initials wriiten exactly as follows: FLH, MLK, JR SAC. These letters are centered along the bottom edge of the line that makes the innermost layer of the circle. The letter K sits above the space at the 6 position on a clock on the innermost line.
