The mark consists of a red oval trimmed in black with a yellow oval in the center of the red oval. The word "SMERQ'S" in capital letters, in an arc, in yellow above the yellow oval and the words "Smoked Jerk BBque" below the yellow oval in a reverse arc. Inside the yellow oval is the bottom half of a persons face consisting of a nose and mouth with a red tongue licking the lips of the mouth outlined in black. At the very top on the outside of the red oval to the left following the curve of the oval is the word "Chicago" in cursive writing.
