The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods and/or services provided meet the academic, experience and examination requirements of a national registration authority, are performed by an individual with sufficient knowledge of health, safety principles and practices to support a safe working environment by maintaining OHS administrative processes, conducting training and uses a range of state-of-the-art tools, processes and common practice solutions to OHS risks, oversees and drives monitoring and compliance in relation to technical and behavioral risk controls, are performed by an individual whose knowledge and skills are continually upgraded through a continuous professional development process to ensure he/she is always fully qualified, up-to-date in the management of health and safety issues, and are performed (by an individual) according to a Code of Ethics established by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.
