The mark consists of a stylized illustration of a 19th century horse drawn meat delivery wagon is centered within an oval framing in a landscape position, the top of the wagon and the front wheels of the wagon break through the oval framing, the remainder of the oval area not covered by the wagon displays horizontal lines. The side of the wagon displays an oval sign bearing the text "MEAT" in capital letters. Centered below this illustration is a line of text which reads "BLACKSTONE" in all capital letters evenly spaced one from the other and positioned so that the second through the ninth letters span approximately the same length as the illustration above. Centered below this first line of text and providing separation equal distance from a line of text below it, is the date "1890" framed within a small oval that spans the approximate length of 3 letters of the text above and the approximate height of the letters of the text above with straight lines drawn from the western most and eastern most ends of this small oval to points flush with the beginning and ending line of text above it.
