The mark consists of a background with flame-styled edges, in a trapezoid shape, the words read: FIEBRE AMARILLA, all capital, with flame style letters. Diagonally across the FIEBRE AMARILLA are the capital letters USA. The top half of the "U" contains stars and bottom half contains stripes. The "U's" top half covers the bottom of the F and I and the bottom covers the top of the M and A. The top left of the "S" contains stars and the remainder of the "S" contains stripes. The "S" diagonally covers the bottom part of the E and half of the B. The bottom part of the "S" covers the top part of the letters R and I in Amarilla. The letter "A" in the USA is entirely striped. It covers the bottom half of the R and the left side of the E in Fiebre. The USA letters are on a background, rectangular in shape. It is no larger than the USA letters.
