The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons who provide care for patients at the home of the patient or a person caring for the patient, is intended to certify that the person using the mark has met certain minimum formal education standards, maintains current certification or licensure in their healthcare fields or has otherwise satisfied his or her state's requirements for practicing in the healthcare field, and has met experience standards in the fields of Alzheimer's disease and dementia care or his or her state's requirements for practicing, and that the work in rendering the services was performed by persons who have met the standards and criteria established by the certifier.
