The mark consists of the name "PIELS" in stylized font within a horizontal band with narrow lines running horizontally above and below. Centered and directly above the name "PIELS" is a crest consisting of a circular design, a banner, stalks of grain, hop flowers and hop leaves. The banner is positioned on the horizontal line above the name "PIELS". The words and ampersand "LIFE, LIBERTY & BEER" are written within the center portion of the banner. Directly above the banner is a circular design containing the words "BREWED IN NY" which appear across top of the circular design and the word "TRADEMARK" which appears on the bottom of the circular design. In the center of the circular design are stylized letters "P" and "B" atop a shield-like shape with the letters partially overlapping. There is an arrow positioned in the center of the circular design that runs from bottom to top through both the "P" and the "B". There is a thin outer circle border to the circular design with no writing thereon. Both to the left and right of the circular design are two stalks of grain, towards the bottom of the stalks is a hop flower and two hop leaves.
