The mark consists of a black roundel with a gray border. There is a black rectangular pattern printed on the gray boarder. The gray border has a light brown outer rim and a dark brown inner rim. Superimposed on the roundel is the image of a dog sitting on its hind legs on a platform and licking its face. The dog has a pink tongue sticking out to its right, with a brown nose, white teeth and black eyes. Near the dog's front legs is a brown and white beer mug tipped over spilling some liquid on to the platform. The platform is light brown in color and the dog's coat is golden yellow and white in color. Golden yellow wheat stalks are placed along the left and right side of the dog in a semi-circle. A golden yellow ribbon wraps around the platform and extends outside the roundel. At the center of the ribbon are the word "CHIHUAHUA" in black stylized uppercase letters above the word "CERVEZA "in smaller black upper case letters. The word "CERVEZA" is flanked by two white horizontal lines.
