The mark consists of a tan rectangle with the words "ESTD. 1879" near the top of the rectangle and inside of another rectangle outlined in black. Below this also inside the tan rectangle is another rectangle with a black outline. Inside of this outline is the wording "KENTUCKY OWL" in a stylized black and tan font. There is a stylized owl outlined in black on a gray crescent moon design above this wording. Next to a stylized owl, is the wording "THE WISE MAN'S BOURBON" in a red font. Each of the corners inside this rectangle contain gray stylized foliage in the corners. Near the bottom left of the mark is the wording "C.M. DEDMAN, FOUNDER" in a black font. Below "KENTUCKY OWL" there are two brown lines. Finally, the near the center of the mark the tan background has a lighter gradient, becoming cream.
