The mark consists of a black roundel with a gray border and a brown rim. There is a black rectangular pattern printed on the gray boarder. Superimposed on the roundel is the image of a dog sitting on its hind legs on a platform with a brown and white beer mug tipped over at the dog's feet. The dog has a pink tongue sticking out to its right, with a brown nose, white teeth and black eyes. The platform is brown in color and the dog's coat is golden yellow and white in color. Golden yellow wheat stalks are placed along the left and right side of the dog in a semi-circle. A golden yellow ribbon wraps around the platform and extends outside the roundel. At the center of the ribbon are the word "CHIHUAHUA" above the word "BEER" in black uppercase letters.
