The mark consists of a square design that is created by three smaller squares, negative space, and a triangle. The large square features the outer left vertical border in blue, a top width horizontal border also in blue, an inside rectangle in the first quadrant that features a bottom border, and vertical border in black. The blue squares in the top right, and bottom left are incomplete squares that feature negative white space. The bottom quadrant of the large square features an inside triangle that is created by negative space, and a bottom right triangle in black. The wording "THE ASIA INSTITUTE" appears next to the design in blue, and sits above a blue horizontal line. The Chinese characters "Ya", "Zhou Xue", and "Yuan" appear also in blue below the horizontal line. The color white appearing in the mark represents background and/or transparent areas and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
