The mark consists of the word "SUMESA" in white stylized letters appearing inside a red rectangle. The rectangle has rounded corners and white borders enlarged on the upper right and lower left corners inside another red rectangle with circular corners. Below that element is the word "EXCELSIOR" appearing in white letters inside a red banner outlined in gold. Two gold wheat leafs on each side of the banner enclose an area having a yellow background below the banner with the word "PASTA" in red letters thereon. A yellow glass bottle with a brown cork, green basil and oregano leaves, white garlic cloves, a red tomato, a green pepper and a purple onion are disposed at the lower portion of the area inside the wheat leaves.
