The mark consists of TANGO YANKEE Round emblem containing the words, Department of the Army, United States of America. A coiled serpent at the top of a bayonet with the words, This We'll Defend. A depiction of a vintage cannon with 3 cannon balls and two vintage round mines. Under the cannon is 1775. An American flag atop a drum on the left side and flag containing a shield of armor on the right. Round emblem containing the words, United States Marine Corps. An eagle sits at the top of a globe and an anchor appears behind the globe. The eagle is holding a banner in its beak that says, Semper Fidelis. The anchor has a large rope intertwined throughout. Round emblem containing the words, Department of the Navy, United States of America. A large sailing ship with three masts and flying an American flag is seen in the background. In the foreground is a bald eagle with its left claw clutching the bottom of a large anchor. Round emblem with the words, Department of the Air Force, United States of America. Inside the emblem are 13 small stars in a circular pattern with Roman numerals MCMXLVII at the bottom. A decorative crest with wings in the middle and an eagle talon at the top and bottom of a coiled rope appears in the center. There are eight lightning bolts, four on each side of the coiled rope.
