The mark consists of an oval composed of a red ribbon design with black highlights and gold border, surrounding the image of the bust of a male in traditional Scottish garb consisting of a blue hat with brown edge, silver emblem with a flower arising thereof consisting of green stem and leaves and purple flower, tan skin with brown hair and beard, blue coat with brown diagonal belt over a green and red tartan shawl with a gold pin, superimposed in front of a blue and white sky with tan, brown and purple mountains, appearing between the image of green leaves and green hops with two white amorphous shapes, positioned to the left and right of the image of the bust of a male; the word "BROUGHTON" appears at the top of the oval in white; the words "STRONG & BOLD SCOTCH ALE OLD JOCK" in white, in a red straight sash shape that is bordered in gold across the center of the oval; below the red straight sash, an image of two butting rams in white with black outlines; centered between the butting rams, the words "EST 1979" in gold on a red shaded and gold and black bordered triangular design, at the bottom of the oval appears a black shaded seal with a serrated circular boarder in gold and black and the gold wording "BROUGHTON BREWERY BREWED AT ORIGIN SCOTTISH BORDERS THE SHEEP STATION" with two gold shaded squares with black "X" marks appearing on each side of the bottom wording.
