The mark consists of an elliptical shape, roughly corresponding to the outline of the human eye, containing at the center two concentric circles, the inner circle black, representing the pupil of the human eye, and the outer, background circle blue, representing the iris of the human eye. Inscribed ni the circle are the words "ARINSCO", above and left of the circles, and sloping somewhat from the lower left to the upper right of the outer circle, and "OPTICS", below the circles, and sloping upward to the right. To the left of the circles, the numeral 2 and a capital D, suggestive of two dimensional viewing by the eye, and to the right the numeral 3 and a capital D, suggesting the conversion of two dimensional views to three dimensional views. All of the numbers and characters within the ellipse are at the same angle, about 10 degrees sloping upward to the right.
