The mark consists of a stylized image of lock in the shape of a shield. The lock is grey outlined in black on the front, the upper portion of the lock is grey and white with black shadowing on the inside of the curved areas. The front of the shield is blue outlined in white and grey and contains a black keyhole outlined in grey and four give point white stars on each side of the keyhole. The letters "NSL" appear below the keyhole design in upper case letters in red on a white background. Below the image of the lock is the phrase "NATIONAL SECURITY LOCK" in stylized letters, where the first letter of each word is red and upper case, and the rest of the letters are blue. All of the letters have a light grey shadow extending behind them.
