The mark consists of a horizontally elongated rectangle, have a forest scene background on its left end, and a green background in the remainder of the rectangle. The words "The Inequality Process Institute" appear over the green background, with "Inequality" in yellow, and the other words in white, and below them are the words "advancing the frontier of inequality process studies" in yellow letters, also on the green background. The forest scene shows trees with brown trunks and green leaves over green and brown underbrush. Patches of blue sky appear behind the trees. Beams of white and yellow sunlight appear through the trees. Over the right side of the forest scene and the left edge of the green background, there is a stylized depiction of five transparent leaves with black borders, with four of the leaves attached to a black stem, and the other leaf being loose and casting a black shadow with a fuzzy yellow border.
