A banner flies behind him with the dates "1776" and "1883" on either side of him. This image is encircled and a larger circle around it contains thirteen stars at the top and the words "SONS OF THE REVOLUTION" at the bottom. The stippling in the mark merely represents shading and is not a feature of the mark.
