The mark consists of a record set on a stylized background with a stylized center that has writing on it in stylized letters and stylized center hole (circle). Curved letters across the top read "NASHVILLE" and curved letters along the bottom of the record read "GOLD" in block type letters. There are 2 fiddles with a bow directly opposite each other on the stylized part of the record, that are located half way up on each side. The center writing reads: "The Story of Country Music" in stylized letters on the center of the record and surrounding the small center hole. There is also some darker shading on part of the record in the same location where the fiddles are placed.
