The mark consists of thin circle. Within the circular space is another thick circular area with the words "FELLOW OF THE INTERNATIONAL" curved across the top. Tear drop shapes fill in the rest of the space towards the bottom. Within the thick circular space is another thin circle with the words "BOARD OF" at the top. Below the words "BOARD OF" is the outline of a human brain with a horizontal zig-zag line through it. On either side the brain are two horizontal, parallel lines. Below the brain figure are the words "FUNCTIONAL" and "NEURO-ORTHOPEDICS". The words are stacked on top of each other with "FUNCTIONAL" on top, and "NEURO-ORTHOPEDICS" on the bottom. Below "NEURO-ORTHOPEDICS" is a five pointed star like figure. Out of each point of the figure are three extensions. On either side of the five point figure are two horizontal parallel lines. The colors black, white and gray represent background, outlining, shading and/or transparent areas and are not part of the mark.
