Vehicle security system providing video, location, and vehicle data such as speed and maintenance alerts, comprising both hardware and software components, the hardware components comprising multiple video cameras with microphones, a device providing wireless local area networks, LTE cellular connectivity and vehicle data, a processing unit to manage the system, and an optional power unit providing steady current to the system, and the software comprising video and audio recording management of data and communication with the company's proprietary cloud services, all with the capability for a web interface and a smart phone application for viewing vehicular data and communicating with the vehicles; mobile application software for smartphones providing users the ability to remotely control features of a vehicle locating, tracking, and security system installed on their vehicle, namely, turning video, sound, infrared, accelerometer, and engine sensor data capture on or off, uploading captured video, sound, infrared, accelerometer, and engine sensor data to a remote location, notifying a security monitoring call center, and law enforcement authorities of a situation requiring attention at the location of the vehicle being monitored
