The mark consists of a compass to the left side of the mark, wherein the compass has 4 spade-like arrows pointing in north, west, south, and east directions, but the east facing spade-like arrow is extended towards the right and has the word "EXPLORE" above it and "BUFFALO" below it, the compass further includes a dark circle outlining the compass, with a larger in thickness lighter circle interior to the dark circle of the compass, and a lighter circle further interior with black outlining to demarcate the circle, this circle also has black slashes evenly spaced around the entire circle connecting the black outlining demarcation, and interior to that is a final interior circle, overlapping the compass is an eight-pointed star, with four larger points, pointing north, west, south, and east, and four smaller points, pointing northwest, southwest, southeast, and northeast, wherein the larger points are darker on the left side of the north point, bottom side of the west point, right side of the south point, and top of the east point, and wherein the points are darker on the bottom side of the northwest point and southwest point and darker on the top of the southeast and northeast point.
