The mark consists of the wording "BELLA DOMINICANA" in stylized blue lettering outlined in gold below which appears two sitting nymphs in the colors yellow, red, pink, blue black, green and gold that appear to be painting with a green brush and plume. Between the two nymphs appears a round painting inside a very elaborate gold frame with black accents. The painting consists a view of a blue and pink ocean or bay, a man in black and white rowing a brown, yellow and white boat, a piece of green land and a green and brown palm tree in the foreground. In the background appears a gray colonial military castle, blue and yellow sky, an orange sun, and a gray ship. The entire design is surrounded by gold coins with black accents and in the lower area appear two flags in red and blue with white crosses with red, white, pink, blue and yellow flowers between them. On the central left and right side of the drawing appear three gold arrows pointing downwards.
