The mark consists of a crested shield divided into three geometric panes. The top left pane contains a stylized "dal segno" symbol consisting of an "S" shape with dots on either side and a straight diagonal line intersecting the "S" from the bottom left side to the top right side of the pane. The top right pane contains a road winding into the distance. The more distant portion of the road is lined with evergreen trees. The diagonal line from the top left pane joins a diagonal line slanting downward in the top right pane, which, together with another set of adjoined diagonal lines, represents mountains. The bottom pane of the shield contains five vertical rectangles descending in size on either side from the middle rectangle. The whole shield is bordered by an ornate leaf and vine pattern. On either side of the shield are mirror image top view representations of salamanders. Below the crest is a ribbon banner containing the literal element "EFTMEGA" in stylized capital letters.
