The mark consists of the word "Calliope" with a capital "C" and the lower-case letters "alliope". The capital "C" consists of a crescent shape forming the bottom and left parts of the "C" and a tongue coming from the lower left and hooking to the right twice to form the upper right portion of the "C". In addition, the upper left portion of the "C" has a curve forming a loop starting at the top left of the "C" and tapering as it curves downward. An eighth note with a pennant-shaped top bisects the "C". The remaining lower-case letters except for the second "L" have barbed points. The top of the lower case "A" curves downward onto the middle portion of the "A". The forward (left) half of the second letter "L" resembles an eighth note whose top curves to the right. The rear (right) half of the second "L" consists of three lines curving downward to the left and meeting at the bottom of the "L" to form a wing-like shape.
