The mark consists of an incomplete number "1" in solid bold black at the left with the head and neck of a soldier facing left in white, with the soldier wearing a night optical device on the top of his head which goes through the number "1" at the top, with the face and neck of the soldier imposed into the number "1" with the words in solid bold black in uppercase "VET AT A TIME" written one word on top of each other where all first letters are lined up above the word below it and each word is equally spaced on a separate line, all of which touch the back of the soldier's head and neck to the right, all of the foregoing on a white background.
