The purpose of the organization is to reduce landfill waste and to give discarded items a second life, thereby reducing pollution created from manufacturing new products. The organization works to slow the depletion of resources caused by unnecessary production. We exist to protect the environment, lessen neighborhood blight, combat community deterioration and reduce the burdens of government. We educate children and the underprivileged in skills of repair, restoration, environment protection and animal care. The organization also helps the needy. Description of Activities The organization will accept discarded or used products, material, goods, food and equipment for re-use or environmentally friendly recycling. The organization will collect products from stores that are deemed defective, un-sellable, broken or expired. The organization will accept not only the items that are for sale in stores but we will accept items that facilitate the display of, preparation of, repair of, or storage of items and products such as shelves, racks, refrigerators etc. The organization will accept almost any item that is found in a grocery store, drug store, hardware store or general store. Also, we will accept excess food from restaurants that would otherwise be discarded. We will accept usable waste and equipment from other companies, organizations or government agencies as well. These discarded items could be broken, unsafe, obsolete or useless. The organization will accept items from individuals as well. Such individuals may be moving and or cleaning out their homes. They may not have the time to bother with donating or giving away their items. We will provide an expedient way for them to discard of their items and distribute the abundant supply of goods to where it can be used. The donated products, material, goods and equipment will be sold for the benefit of the organization's continuing work or used within the organization to facilitate collection and repair of donations. The funds generated from the sale of items will facilitate the operation of the organization, pay staff, and fund the storage of, collection, and repair of items donated. We will also accept real property, automobiles, boats, and planes. Any donation will be sold for reuse or used within the organization to facilitate our mission. The acceptance of donations will be determined by the director or staff member. We will reserve the right to refuse items. Anything donated to the organization becomes the organizations property. The organization will run a repair workshop. Volunteers or staff members will be employed at the workshop where donated items will be repaired. This will be a community workshop that teaches skills in general repair of household goods and equipment. It will serve to teach children, young adults and the underprivileged. Individuals would gain hands-on skills in repair and restoration. Food products will be donated to other local charities such as food banks or homeless shelters. Food deemed unfit for human consumption will be used to feed farm animals such as pigs, rabbits, goats, chickens, sheep, turkeys, cows and horses. Individuals interested in animal caretaking are welcome to hand out donated food to the ranch animals within the organization. Food will also be donated to wildlife rehabilitation organizations
