Provide education in the nature of seminars and training in the field of insurance fraud for the insurance fraud investigation community, such as insurance premium fraud, personal injury protection insurance fraud, health care provider fraud, arson, structural fire analysis, conducting examinations under oath, CPT coding, staged automobile accidents, avoiding bad faith claims, workers compensation fraud, clinic inspections, ethical considerations, recovery and restitution, legislative updates, forensic animation, Internet searches, identity theft, confidentiality and privacy issues in fraud investigations, Florida Agency for Health Care Administration/ Department of Health (AHCA/DOH) administrative issues, testimony in depositions and trials, public adjustor and contractor relationships, fraudulent homeowner claims, sink hole fraud, fraudulent property claims, event data recorders, property theft claims, analytics, relationship between law enforcement and insurance company investigators, slip and fall claims, fraudulent marine claims, and trial preparation of fraud cases; and education services, namely, providing classes regarding ways to combat insurance fraud to groups involved in insurance fraud investigations including but not limited to law enforcement, prosecutors, private investigators, insurance company investigators and lawyers

Provide education and training for the insurance fraud investigation community; promote a coordinated effort within the insurance industry and law enforcement to combat insurance fraud by participating in activities approved by the Executive Committee; and educate the local communities including but not limited to law enforcement, prosecutors, government agencies and the general public on ways to combat insurance fraud
