The mark consists of The word "LouisiAnimals" is a prominent feature of the image. It is written in a custom font. There are features of animals found in Louisiana incorporated into the letters. The horizontal bottom leg of the "L" is made by an alligator's image with a small mammal on his back. Squirrels are shown on the vertical leg of the "L" and on top of the "o". The "i"'s are dotted with ducks flying in to land ("or light on the water"). The first "A" in the center of the word is capitalized and it is rung with a circle. The "S" on the end has deer horns on top. The face of a tiger with stripes and eyes is prominently displayed in gold above the word "LouisiAnimals". The design is also sometimes done monochromatic.
