The graphic component of the mark, which is centered on the left margin of the stacked phrases and exceeds the upper margin of the word "KATY' by approximately 15%, is comprised of a multi colored three dimensional teardrop balanced upon an inverted three dimensional triangle, casting a circular shadow directly beneath. The three dimensional teardrop is primarily red, gradually fading from bottom to top and left to right, and beginning on the lower left corner. The colors fade in this path from red to orange then to yellow at the point. A three dimensional effect is created with both a white highlight on the left border of the teardrop and a dark shadow from the bottom wrapping upwards around the right edge to the tip. A white stylistic "K" which appears to be a vine or sprout is centered in the teardrop, bordered with a black shadow effect. The three dimensional inverted triangle centered beneath the teardrop is red and mirrors the bottom rounded edge of the teardrop. The three dimensional inverted triangle is proportionate to the uppermost tip of the teardrop. The three dimensional effect is created using a black shadow on the left and right arms of the triangle and a white highlight on the top curved edge of the triangle. The circular shadow cast by the teardrop is a gradient circle from grey fading at the center outward to white.
