The mark consists of a dark blue circular background divided into an inner circle and an outer circle each of which has a light blue border, the inner circle having a light blue map of West Virginia with a white star located in the north central portion of the map with a red arrow pointing to the star, the abbreviation "W.VA." in light blue letters to the left of the map, parallel light blue lines extending horizontally across the inner circle with the words "EMERGENCY MED. SERVICE" in red between the lines. Below this wording is a design element of the star of life in blue outlined in white with the rod of Asclepius symbol in dark blue outlined in white inside. The words "HARRISON COUNTY EMERGENCY SQUAD" in white letters around the circumference of the outer circle; and a white ring encircling the outer circle, the white ring containing the words "SERVING SINCE 1966" arched at the top of the ring in dark blue letters, a dark blue dot on each side of the ring, and the words "WHEN YOU NEED US, WE'LL BE THERE!" in dark blue letters arched along the bottom of the ring.
