The mark consists of a green (PMS 361) three-dimensional rectangular shaped bottle with rounded vertical sides and a diagonally tapered top leading to a narrow neck and cap with two-dimensional wording and designs thereon. The color green is claimed as a feature of the mark. The bottle has the wording "VALVOLINE" imprinted vertically in a raised print down along the side of the green bottle.
