The Bus Stopper signal assembly may, for example, mount on a bus stop or a bus stop shelter. The flashing reflective surface may receive an oncoming bus' headlights and reflect the light to alert the bus driver. When the handle is moved up and down a reflective surface of the signal assembly alerts the bus driver of the presence of a passenger at the next bus stop. The Bus Stopper is cylindrical in shape, comprised of three plastic tubings, one inside of the other. The inner is a PVC cylinder with four-inch 3M reflective tape wrapped around each end of the cylinder. The middle cylinder is a clear polyester plastic to protect the inner tube with reflecting tape. The outer black cylinder has a handle attached to the side and can be moved up and down by the passenger. The two inner cylinders are sealed with plastic caps and o-rings to protect the inside from all weather elements. A C-metal mounting bracket is attached to the plastic caps with steel drive rivets. It can then be mounted to the bus stop pole or shelter
