The mark consists of the words "hooktheory" with an arranged set of horizontal colored rectangles above the words. The rectangles are spaced horizontally such that the left hand side of each rectangle is at the same horizontal position as the right hand side of the rectangle to the left of it. The vertical position of each rectangle is related to the color of the rectangle, i.e., all red rectangles are at a given height, all orange rectangles are at a given height. Going through the colors of the rainbow, red-orange-yellow-green-blue-etc.,the vertical position increases. The top edge of one color is at the same vertical height as the bottom edge of the next color in the rainbow. For example, the top edge of the yellow rectangle is at the same vertical height as the bottom edge of the green rectangle. The height of each individual rectangle is the same, the length is arbitrary. Also, one of the rectangles is colored white to look as though it is "on" or "lit up". Going from left to right, the rectangles are colored thusly: red, orange, blue, green, white with orange nimbus, yellow and red. The words are in black and white, with the exception of the one rectangle mentioned above is used merely as background.
