The mark consists of two red oval concentric circles with a white band between them with the words "AMERICAN BOARD OF" appearing in blue in the top of the band, two red diamonds on each side of the band, and the words "MEDICAL ETHICS" appearing in blue on the bottom of the band; the center of the oval is light gray, dark gray, and black with the outline of two profiles in red of two human heads facing outward in opposite directions; the head on the right is in the color light gray and near the top is a drawing of a human brain in the colors light gray and dark gray; and the head on the left is in the color light gray and near the top is a drawing of a human heart in the colors light gray and dark gray; between the two heads is a red and white staff with a gold and white snake wrapped around it with one white eye forming a caduceus; at the bottom of the center oval, below the caduceus, in white letters, are the words "ORGANIZED 2010" in the color white.
