The mark consists of a concentric circle with the words "NATION'S" and "CLASSIC" in the outer ring of the circle in white letters on a burgundy background. The circle is bordered bands of tan and black. Inside the circle are stylized drawings of the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol all in white and black, and a human figure wearing a band uniform in white, black and tan, all of which are surrounded by a light blue background. Across the center of the circle and in white letters with black outline is the word "FOOTBALL" above which is a brown and white football and a burgundy and white curved line. Below the word "FOOTBALL" is a stylized design of a football field in green and white. Outside and at the bottom of the circle are the words "TRADITION", "SERVICE", "UNITY", and "HERITAGE" in black letters separated by burgundy stars.
