The mark consists of a beige rectangle outlined in white, beige and gray. Inside the beige rectangle is the word "TAUGHANNOCK" in black with gray and white shading. The word element is aligned in a special way: the top border is horizontal and bottom border is aligned to the invisible arch curve. On the front of each letter there are one or two small gray lines each separated by a gray dot in the middle. A small white horizontal line separated by the white dot in the middle appears above the word "TAUGHANNOCK". Below the word is an oval outlined in white, beige and brown featuring a black, gray and white drawing of a waterfall, surrounding cliffs and in the left bottom part of the drawing a group of people. A smaller black oval outlined in white, black and dotted brown lines is superimposed over the bottom center portion of the oval containing the waterfall design. Below the ovals there are two white horizontal lines, bent in the middle. In the lower part of the mark is the white horizontal line separated by the white dot in the middle. Ornamental white scrollwork appears within the beige rectangle around and below the oval containing the waterfall design.
