The mark consists of a circular border, a solid circle in the center, and concentric inner and outer rings between the border and the solid circle in the center. Lettering appears on the upper and lower halves of the inner ring. Lettering forming the words "TOP GUN" appears in the center of the mark, with the an outwardly extending upper horizontal line connecting to the left side of the top of the "T" and another outwardly extending upper horizontal line connected to the outer top corner of the "N". A lower horizontal line also underlines the word "TOP". The lower horizontal line extends outward from the word "TOP" and beneath a portion of the upper horizontal line connected to the "T". Another lower horizontal line underlines the word "GUN". That other lower horizontal line extends outward from the word "GUN" and beneath a portion of the horizontal line connected to the "N". On the right and left sides of the words "TOP GUN," horizontal bars appear between the upper and lower horizontal lines. A star is positioned between the two lower horizontal lines. A jet is depicted above the word "TOP GUN", and is centered between the words "TOP" and "GUN". The color red appears in the border and in the horizontal bars extending to the right and left sides of the words "TOP GUN". The color navy blue appears in the outer ring and in the solid circle in the center. The color blue appears in the inner ring. The color white appears in the lettering, the jet, the star, and the upper and lower horizontal lines.
