The certification mark, as used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies that the holder has demonstrated mastery over all of the quality assurance performance indicators expected of a skin care provider in a clinically-centered medical practice environment & has been tested on the following criteria & has satisfied the six bench marks as demonstrated by the most highly-knowledgeable & most proficient of clinical practice experts by: (1) Understanding & mastering the major elements of clinical communication, (2) Acknowledging & following the direction of supervisory medical personnel & by adhering to the dictates of clinical protocols as specified by medical practice policies, (3) Clinically modifying skin care treatment approaches to address a variety of special concerns and needs of both cosmetic & dermatologic patients, (4) Ranking treatment priorities & by focusing on their patient's safety first & foremost, (5) Deciphering patient charting & by performing documentation procedures, (6) Developing pre & post operative strategies in conjunction with the applications of other patient caregivers for the purpose of building a stronger alliance - one that supports & fosters ongoing patient compliance.
